Every programmer has their own soapbox to demonstrate how much smarter they are than everyone else, and many of them come with a condescending attitude. "Lo! I have perfected the art of function-parallel media translacing," they say. "Behold my unit tests, and abandon your tired and inferior methods!"

So I thought: How can I consider myself a serious programmer without a my own platform from which to proclaim such undeniable truths? And so Bloviations of an Opinionated Programmer was born!
